Robert Burns

 Rob Burns - Wings Trophy.jpg (18398 bytes)

A Chef & Baker by profession Rob has been flying for many years, starting  with the local aeroclub and progressing to Aerobatics in a Cessna C152A. That got him hooked on turning planes wheels to the sky, and as with Chris his next opportunity came when Doug Brooker kindly offered the use of his Steen Skybolt . For those who don't know what a Skybolt is Rob likes to refer to it as "a Gentleman's Pitts, its nice to fly and is great fun". In 2001 Rob won 3 Aerobatic titles and a Formation Flying title in New Zealand and 1 Aerobatic Title in Australia (The picture above is of Rob holding the Trans-Tasman Trophy in C152A ZK-FLF).

Rob can be reached at rob@kiwithunder.com or by telephone on +64 (0) 21646514

Rob has recently opened his own bakery "Robs Patisserie" in Auckland's Ponsonby Road so if you are in the neighborhood stop by and buy something.....
